I was at a play in Europe with my mom and dad. About halfway through, we realized that the holocaust was still going on and that we would be either free to go or sent to jail after the play. When it ended, we walked up to the doors, but I realized I left my wallet in my seat with my id inside. Mom and I walked back down and I found it through the light on my phone, but just at that instant, my phone died. We start to climb back up to the entrance, but it becomes impossibly difficult to go up the steps. We are basically crawling the entire way and it takes nearly all of my energy to get to the doors. When we exit, there is a fire alarm door and I see a girl make a break for it. I keep walking to the guard who is under a projector. I knew that mom would be sent to jail for being Jewish, but I thought I might be in the clear since I'm only half Jewish. The first thing he makes me do is run like 15 feet. Then he says "we've thought about it a lot and you're good to go..." I am relieved, but after a pause he continues: "... To jail for 30 years" For some reason, I wasn't even mad. They started to test mom, but I saw a hidden door behind a coat rack. I knew this was my only way out. It was dark in the room, but I could feel the ground rising to form a long ramp. I heard the door open at the top, and I jumped into the gap between the ramp and the wall. Like underneath the bleachers at my school gym, I was able to stand under the ramp until the person walked through and close the door I had entered through. I walked up the ramp and exited the other door. All of the sudden, I was sleeping in my own bed. I wake up, and for a brief moment, I think it was just a dream. Then I hear my mom and the nazis coming in through the garage. I heard my mom talking, stalling to give me more time, and I bolt to my nearest hiding spot, the cabinet under my sink. This is when I wake up in my bed.
