Famine

The government announced the entire world was low on food, and people did not go crazy. Everyone was civilized. At the time, my parents and brother were not home and I was home alone with the radio on. The only violent thing was that a terrorist group had overthrown the government and had killed an amount of people with a arrows. The neighbors across the street came to check and make sure I knew what was going on and soon after my parents arrived home. My mum told me to go to the church to see if we had any food under our name since my great grandparents were faithful so I walked over there, nobody was rioting which was a surprise. It was completely peaceful. The lady at the church asked what I was there for so I told asked her if there was any food under my family name and she nodded and led me down to the basement of the church. My great grandparents were there with some other elderly people so I talked with them for a bit before heading home. I woke up when I opened the door.
