Beach run into town

My dream began in a seemingly deserted beach hotel. The building looked cold and abandoned. It was light pink or salmon in color, likely made of cement, similar to those Greek-style homes on the side of cliffs. The windows were mere openings without any glass. There were two wings to the hotel, a right and left side which stretched from a bike path (which was the main road along the beach) to the water. In the middle of the hotel were cement steps, each was considerably longer than it was tall. The steps stretched all the way out to the beach. As the waves crashed, they would consume the lower steps until the waves retreated. I was there with Actor Paul Walker from Fast and Furious (I had seen his movie recently with Jessica Alba). He was a very calm and chill person. There was no one around. It was not the typical party beach hotel with multitudes of people, music, or bars. It felt like a cold place from which I needed to escape. I remember thinking that the airplane and hotel bundle was a great deal, so it didnt hurt much having spent the money getting here. I told Paul, or somehow motioned to him, that we should head into town. I cannot recall whether we had any luggage or not, but we began to run on the cement path that seemed to stretch out forever. My strides were long and effortless. I could throttle my speed up or down with ease. Paul seemed to be ahead of me most of the time. After a few moments, beach houses began to appear to my left, sporadic at first, then more populous. The ocean always remained to my right. Along with the houses, people began to emerge. People with different outfits began to appear along the path, blocking my straight path. It felt like I was running at 100mph. While the people on my path seemed to pass by quickly as a I raced past them, the houses to my left and the ocean to my right seemed to keep up the pace. People on balconies would cheer me on "wow look at that guy, he's so fast," then I would step on the gas and fly by a few more people, maneuvering so close that I could feel their clothes as I ran within centimeters past them. We eventually reached the center of town and came to a stop. It was a really nice area with lots of people, rocks for chairs, umbrellas, bikers, bars, restaurants, and beautiful turquoise water. There were many more people here, happy people, enjoying the sun and having some beer. I remember looking around and thinking how much more a hotel would be here, but I also remember that not mattering because it was amazing here. It was peaceful, joyous, and far from the cold hotel that we left behind. <I wake up>
