apocalypse but they just wanted our shoes

this is one wacky dream my mom, her friend, and i were about to leave our hotel when hundreds of people surrounded us and the car. my mom got out and was like “i have to stand my ground??” so she gets out and she’s standing in the door way facing the car and these people are mobbing us trying to steal our shoes. our shoes like what. they almost seemed brainwashed into thinking this way cause they seemed like they were in a trance. so i’m freaking out. they seemed to really like my shoes. i was wearing classic black skater vans. i kept trying to lure them away. i would show them my shoes and then when they would get close i would jump and kind of fly about them so they couldn’t reach me. this made them mad. i somehow got back in the hotel lobby and was looking for help. a group of the wrestlers from my college were there. and i told them they had to help my mom. they were making excuses and i was sobbing and kept saying “you have to help, you have to, you have to” trying to drag them towards the door. that’s when my alarm woke me up.
