Gotta go to work

Date: 9/7/2025

I was staying with mom, and we were both getting dressed to go to work soon. After I got dressed, I ended up following a recipe on YouTube for some soup for lunch. But at the end of the video, the lady said that it needed to be slow cooked for hours. I was stressed because I couldn't cook this soup for hours, I needed to go to work. I had mom try the soup with me. It was good, but she said it was spicy. I'm like, what?? I didn't even add anything spicy. She said "really? Are you sure?" And i said yes. I packed some of the soup away for lunch for both of us even though it wasn't finished, then just kinda... shrugged at the rest of the pot because I didn't know what to do. I couldn't just leave it on the stove while we went to work, it could catch fire. Mom ended up going to work and I went, somewhere? It seemed like a pretty small business, but i don't think I went inside. My oldest sister was outside with me, and then these two dudes showed up. They were both extremely pretty, and the prettiest one started flirting with my sister. Sure, okay, that's fine. I was hoping the other one would try to flirt with me, but they didn't even talk to me. I think there was a little pang of jealousy, but i didn't really do anything about it. I got an uber and went back home for lunch. When I got home, my other sister was on the couch sleeping. The pot of soup was on the table, so I put it in the fridge. I asked myself why I would do that when it would get cold and defeat the purpose, but I didn't argue with myself. I found a bag of m&ms and put a handful in my mouth. At some point I had gotten undressed, so I needed to get dressed for work again. I couldn't figure out what I had on before though, so I had to hurry and put on a new outfit. Time was moving fast, and i was already late going back to work. I ordered my Uber, and by this time, my sister was awake. I kept looking at the uber app, and my ride was super far away, plus he had a drop off on the way. I called the store I was working for and told her that I'm sorry I'm so late, I'm not usually like this. My uber is far by I'll try to be there ASAP, I promise. The lady on the other end said it was fine, but I felt bad because we were supposed to be working together. I went onto the app and tried a few times to cancel the ride, but i couldn't figure it out. Ultimately, the rider canceled and I got another one who was only 3 minutes away. I ended up talking to my friend Shay at some point because she came over, and she mentioned getting friendship mugs or something. I told her that sounded great. Maybe we could go to spencers afterwards? She agreed, and we ended up going outside so we could get in our separate rides. The rider got out of the car to make sure I was the one he was picking up (and he pronounced my name wrong, but i didn't correct him). I nodded and we got in the car. There were like, two other guys in the car with him, but I didn't have time to be picky right now, I needed to go to work. While we were puking out of the lot, I notice there was a party happening outside of the bottom apartment. There were some people i vaguely knew from middle school, and possibly one person I'd worked with. I was mad that I had to go because it would've been nice to talk to these people again. I remember being in the car with these guys for a long while, but then I don't remember anything after that.
