Cleaning

I had a short dream last night and not this night. Basically I was in my room and noticed my necklace was looking dirty so I had a cup with a cleaning fluid for jewelry. I dipped it in 2 times and it looked mostly clean aside from this gray part on the ring itself. I tried to dip it once more, but it didn't help. I chalked it up to me wearing it on my finger too often even though I don't put it on my finger??
