Secret area in skyscraper

At long last me and my intern (not a real person I don't have an intern) entered a secret area in the skyscraper. We had been trying to find it for a long time. It was a wide white cylindrical room and looking up I saw it went all the way to the roof. One by one coworkers of my past entered the room from below because they had found it too. Now we just had to go up. I found a diagonal pulley system that takes you up and I offered to go up with my intern but he was ok going up on his own after me. I went up and found an area with some conference rooms. Still all white and minima with glass panels revealing them to the hall. In here I learned about a large machine that was used on people years ago to help them remember things. It magnetically held their heads in place and it didn't work. Years later the same company made a machine that matched the same description that was sold to the government for the purposes of torture. Apparently it used magnetism to move some piece of bone in your head back and forth.
