Frozen Seafood

I just returned to my home town, a small place on the river bank, after years of enlistment in the military. My aunt advised me to see the town mayor for potential employment, since my uncle also worked for the town hall. I already had a plan to travel abroad the following day, so if I want to speak with the mayor, it had to be today. Unfortunately, there was a snow furry that day, and the mayor lived across the river bank. I’d have to sail in the snow to see him. I decided to make the daring voyage anyway. I grabbed a sail boat and headed out. One of the townsfolk saw me and yelled out: “Are you crazy? It’s dangerous out there!” I ignored his remarked treaded through the water. On my way, I saw the most bizarre scenery ever - rows and rows of frozen giant crabs and red lobsters stuck on the river bank. Those poor guys were wiggling with all their might to escape, but to no avail. I even saw two chickens frozen cold outside someone’s home. When I arrived at the mayor’s house, I asked for a pitcher of warm water with the hope to help melt the ice and free the trapped animal. Sadly, the mayor’s informed me they did not have warm water available. :/ Oh well, at least the townsfolk will have nice seafood dinner that day.
