War of gods

I don’t remember the full narrative or order, but here are the bits I do remember. A small creature goes up stairs and delivers a red envelope. This is a problem. By tradition, all correspondence is the domain of two gods, War and Post. This was delivered by the gods of Instantaneous and Message. Breaking the order is an act of defiance. War does not act on this but calls a meeting. The most important gods are War, Tradition, Materialism, and Progress. I am the god of the sea. High up, but not top tier. I meet someone in the temple to the god of Books, a bookstore where all the books are made of fine ash that crumbles. There is a Great War. People are recruited for all sides. Minor gods are trying to become more powerful. At one point, I’m attacked by the god of Dust, and counter by yelling “wet dust!” There are details I can’t remember now. People being pulled into giant tv screens. A battle in the sea. Aquaman.
