Dating my housemate’s Ex

I was dating my housemate’s 45 year old ex boyfriend. We were at his house hanging out and my Video News Production teacher comes in crying. Basically in my dream world they had been dating, and he told her that he and I were together now. She walked out crying and I think I apologized and she said it was okay.
