Crashed a bike by catching the tire on a curb and flipping over the handle bars. But where most would land on belly or skull or anything, I instinctually, without real thought or reason, tucked into a roll. It woke me up and I thought to myself yeah, my instincts will protect me. I will protect me. I will not let myself fall. I am my own safe place.
