first lucid dream... kinda

Date: 9/1/2016

I find myself leaving my house in a hurry with my brother and hop in my jeep. As we are driving down the street it bends to the left and I notice a house that doesn't belong with a fountain/stone type structure in the front yard. I wasn't lucid yet but I recall thinking to myself, "it's weird that my brain would change that." After driving another couple hundred feet the whole neighborhood has changed and I stop the car abruptly and say out loud, "I am dreaming!" I immediately feel this rush come over my body and my heart starts beating fast and loud (IRL). My vision becomes bright and I realize that I have woken up from excitement. It was 8:30 in the morning and it was pretty bright out so I think the brightness I saw was just my eyes "turning back on".
