Swept by the sea and a craft

I must have been living on an island. Amazon had some deal with the residents that they would deliver packages even when the place was inaccessible by car, so they flew their deliveries in by sea plane. It was not just any sea plane that came, it was a very large round craft with flexible wings. It landed near the foot bridge we used to get across the water. I hesitated to cross it at first, but decided the craft would not mess with my path. As I began to walk the wooden floating foot bridge, it started to wobble and shake. I carefully balanced myself as did my friend. Then all of a sudden a large 50 foot wave came and took the bridge, lodging me into the air. I quickly decided what to do. I secured my backpack and started doing the frog swim in mid air. Moving towards the shore I was afraid and wondered it this counted as flying. Then *plunk* I’m swimming to shore, wet and smelly like a dog.
