dad is disappointed in me

date is approx but i had to write tbis down. i’ve hardly been dreaming lately it’s so strange. i was in a boat where i worked in shifts of sleep and wake up. gretta was my boss here too. she told me i didn’t have to set an alarm and if they needed me for my shift the next day she would wake me up. i slept in and when i woke up gretta and the other members of staff were mad at me. they were like why did you not show up?? i was like because you guys told me not to, and that you’d get me? but they were irritated. i told my mother and father about it and my dad was like “maybe if you put more effort in and actually gave a shit you wouldn’t be in this predicament! just wake the fuck yo for your shifts!” i felt i had been working super hard and no one had cared and i had one “slip” that wasn’t even my fault and now i’m lazy?? i was so upset i was sobbing and i woke up sobbing into my pillow.
