LexisNexis Lunch

I'm planning some kind of lunch with Lexis. They've got three options and someone asks what my favorite part of these conferences is. There's a little checklist and i check the food. I'm driving around Jersey City and looking at the beautiful old buildings. They've got sculptures and beautiful design work in them. I think that maybe my life there could have been okay, but this is still kind of a shifty area. My friends are in the car with me and i point it out to them. I think of meeting up with an old friend. Maybe Sam. It was someone i knew in real life that I hadn't seen in ages but get along super well with. I was excited to see him again. Manu's mom is trying to tell me a joke through text and i keep responding late. We go through the formalities of hello, how are you, everything good each time and never really get to the punchline. It's about oranges and mangos. I'm driving through the woods as we discuss it. In the car, a beautiful guy is driving. I'm falling asleep in the back seat and i can feel his warm breath on my neck. I know he knows. It feels ecstatic.
