Back Through Time

My dream was fighting with in the war of Germany, I was walking in a wooden area along side men as a man came up to me with heavy sweat and dirt on his face. He looked at me, smiled and said "great aim you got there private". I looked at him and said "who are you sir" he said "Audie Leon Murphy I'm a Sargent and as a Sargent you should respect me kid". As he said this I had no idea who this soilder was. so I pick my gun up and handed it to him I asked "is my rifle in check Sargent Murphy." picking it up he looked at the rifle examining it to a T. He handed it back to me as a bigger grin came upon his face. Smiling at me he said "you look young when I last saw you private, can't wait to see you up in the barracks". I looked at him puzzled as I had no idea who this man was. As he handed back my rifle he looked at me saying "your grandfather said you were a rookie, you have a lot to learn kid". I looked at him shocked "you know my grandfather" I said back. as he was walking away he turned around and said laughing "yeah" and as he shrugged his shoulders he said "what you don't believe war soilders go to heaven and back out to seal a promise for an old friend" he shook his head laughing and walked away as he saluted me. My heart felt like a race horse for I did not know what was happening. As I stood there still. I looked up into the sky and said in my mind who was the guy". As I Slowly looked down I saw heaven in a split second and my grandfather who I knew passed away years ago. He had tears running down his cheeks saying "my grandson a real United States Army Soilder". I gasped as I woke up in my bed all sweaty in disbelief as I smelled my grandfather's calone he used go wear 3 years ago. I didn't believe as I woke up in my bed what I just smelled.
