Scary cat

I was walking home from somewhere and saw this cute orange tom cat lying on the sidewalk looking at me. I said hi to him and kept walking and then he started meowing at me and I said come here buddy and held out my hand. He came running at me and bit the back of my hand and held on! I was so scared. I tried to make him let go but I was afraid of him clawing me too. Finally he let go and then he chased me most of the way home.
