Strange combination of my life and Gypsy’s life (based on the TV series The Act) My mom had drugged me and I woke up at a performance of the musical Into the Woods. While the show was happening, I kept running around in the audience trying to find a seat. I kept getting squished between people and accidentally knocking over kids. I couldn’t find a seat anywhere and ended up accidentally knocking over part of the stage. Eventually I found a seat but a tornado started happening in the show, it was all crazy and 4d, like everyone was really flying. A baby got scared and started screaming it’s head off right next to me. Next, I (as Gypsy) was going to singing lessons. Perspective kept switching from 1st to 3rd person. My singing teacher was lecturing me about how I didn’t actually do anything with my singing ability so there was no point in me taking lessons. Gypsy’s mom was sitting in the room and took off her shirt for some reason. She had a lot of stretch marks and I was begging her to put her shirt back on and the singing teacher was like “uh yeah you should put your shirt back on.” Perspective switch as I saw Gypsy run and hide in a closet after being upset by the singing teacher. She was acting somewhat schizophrenic and hallucinating different personalities / versions of herself (basically just her wearing different outfits and wigs.) She decided to try and hang herself right then, but then a version of herself yelled at her, telling her she had to stay strong. She made this point by dramatically asking the real Gypsy whether she’d ever had a fire extinguisher glued to her face. Like, “Have you? Have you? I didn’t think so. THAT’S why you have to keep living.” Like in the context of the scene it was a really dramatic and impactful question, but looking back now it makes no sense.
