Dismissal

Very complex and apparently lengthy dream. Initially I am working in the hospital as a nursing instructor. In attending to an emergency I am delayed in checking on a student. When I get to where she is, I find out that she forgot to give medicine to a psychiatric patient. He is a very large, strong man with curly black hair, wearing a patient gown, who appears somewhat mentally retarded. He is in a locked cell. When we go in to give medicine he scapes. We run after him. On his way out of the hospital he accidentally knocks a child down on the floor. He scapes because the student and I have to tend to the child. The child is naked and very young and nothing has happened to him but the mother decides to sue the hospital. The CEO (who is actually Randy, an executive I have worked with) decides I am responsible. The next part of the dream is during the “judgement” which is not at a court but in a lawyer’s office in a large, modern building with large glass windows. There are a lot of people there that I know. When I get there the secretary asks me if I want to change my clothing. I don’t understand what she is saying but someone else translates. I am very upset and saying to everybody that I rather quit than be dismissed for something that did not happen. I do go to the bathroom to change my clothing and come out wearing a pink suit- the pink is very intense. I have cream shoes on and a cream blouse. My hair is silver and short and I have pink highlights on it. Some people like my hair others prefer the way it was before. The CEOs of the hospital coming in an out of an inner office and I continue to wait to be deposed. I am upset because I am going to go in last.
