My car breaks don't work!

I had multiple dreams last night but the first one was about me driving back to the home I grew up in (where my parents are still living) through two feet of snow. I turn on my road and look down the perpendicular road to see two dogs I should be looking after running away. I try to stop (break) to turn around but the breaks don't work. I put car in reverse to go get the dogs but still can't break when I need to. Funny thing is that I don't slip and slide in the snow.
