Elementary School Nostalgia

Where I’m from, there’s no middle school. Elementary school went through grades 1-8 and high school went through grades 9-12. In this dream, I go back to 8th grade in elementary school. Early in the dream, something strange happened. I learned that my mother was going to get married to my best friend (at the time)’s father. That meant that my 8th grade best friend was living with me and I was happy about that. For some reason, despite being divorced in this dream, my parents still lived together. Not too long after, I learned that my father decided to start dating a woman, and she would come live with us. That woman happened to be the mother of my 8th grade crush. Now, my household was composed of 2 mothers and 2 fathers and 3 children, (my 8th grade best friend, my 8th grade crush, and 8th grade me). I was happy to be living with them. What seemed to be the first day of school came in the next day. My 8th grade best friend, 8th grade crush, and I were bonding very well as a family. Our family was late to the first day of school. Sadly, my dream was interrupted when I realized that I overslept my actual online classes and I seemed to have slept through my alarm. Oh well.
