Denial is a toxic trait...

I was living with a new family. Maybe it was polyamory. I juggled a lot, and people made room for me to be there but not a lot. A baby was sick, and people died and went to heaven in a white light on a regular basis. I was thrilled the time I was left alone with just the Yorkie. I was so tired of all the people. The family was just so big. Finally I unpacked my silverware in the closet and decided to stay. The closet/pantry was nice. It had a blonde wood coffin door/shelf thing. It was the coolest feature in the house. The rest of the house looked rather normal. Boring. ~ Girl (me)bus getting bullied over her hats. This is in an enclosed community. She doesn't have much in the way of friends. Most don't talk to her at all, or play with her. Her friend group does exist but even they seem to stay at a distance. Some dude really begins to step up the bullying... His friends do creepy whirling tricks when near her. Many make fun of her. There's an online forum where he does this. Her friend group doesn't see it. They are too busy with their lives and their friends. One of her friends ( also me) does notice it when she's suddenly being playful with people outside their friend group. A few random girls are playing with her.. Some girl who's super power is tag activated by the words ' play with me...' Engages her in a game of teleportation tag. Did I mention everyone here has a super power? Yes. So random people start playing with the girl, trying to help get in the way of the bullying. They keep interceding. Its actually kinda adorable, the hat girl clearly hasn't played with anyone before. And her interfering friend from her friend group gets suspicious thinking they are bullying her. The whole friend group starts watching and trying to include the girl with the hats in more things. But she's so quiet and distant. And the others keep interceding the bullying. Making them mad, or suspicious or maybe jealous Finally it comes to a head when the friend who's interfering.. See's a girl interceding with the bullying. Hat girl is about to be targeted, so the girl with Medusa like power's gets in the way. And her friend, the one noticing and not noticing zaps the stone girl. She becomes stone, wet clay more like.. and the hat girl's right hand does too. The interfering friend panics and tries to undo it .. But the spells everyone around tries won't work. And the stone girl remains stubbornly just mud. The hat girl says its okay without a right hand... Tries to accommodate and cover up the mistake.. Like it's second nature. But finally the interfering friend tries too hard. And the stone girl, mud really, breaks off into an explosion of thought form... Visible and keen. The inside of the hat girl's head. And visions from inside her head fill the room of dozens, no hundreds of times how the hat girl was bullied. Every hat she wore, every time someone bullied her especially this guy named Ran. The interfering friend was in denial and backed away. No way this happened. Ran came by, his whirling friend there, and she demanded the hat girl come hang out with them. Ran grinned evilly and the hat girl backed away. But suddenly a knight, some transgender character for the newspaper begins his news story and tells the truth the interfering friend couldn't see. She wasn't a good friend. The news story details all events from the beginning of the bullying to the friendly interceding it from outside the hat girls "friend group" to the current events. The interfering friend goes insane and demands a duel. The knight news person wins easily. Interfering friend begins with a huge spell but can't keep up after that. Then goes on a quest to tell random people they are their own monikers and stereotypes and its okay... Like some dude is cool with everyone calling him a piece of shit right, because all he eats is shhit. He sorta agrees. But you can tell she's panicking...not wanting to admit it all she'd been a bad friend, not a friend at all, and her friends ran and the whirling dude were bullies, torturing the hat girl. And the hat girl really had no friends.. Despite having a friend group claim her not one of them ever was her friend til they got jealous...
