road to road trip

my friends and i planned to go on a trip to another city together. i was nervous about it because im leaving just as my dad was coming home from his trip out of town. i was also nervous cos i didnt have the exact time im gonna be gone for or exact place to stay, plus my friend (crush) was driving me to the meet up point and he was also coming with on the trip. we were going at night too. i was so surprised and relieved that my dad let me go, with an assuring smile too. but i remember to try and give as much information as i can to my dad about the trip as i was worried my mom didnt told him much about it cos she was also out of town.
