fire alarm

In this dream, I was at an apartment building that I had never been to in real life, it does not exist. I was walking up the driveway and there were a few cars sitting there empty blocking the path for other cars. There was an airplane stuck in the driveway trying to get through as well, made no sense. In the apartment I supposedly live in, I start to hear fire alarms go off in some other units. This has happened before in real life due to people cooking. All of a sudden the alarms stop. There is a silence for a few seconds then all the alarms in all the units start to go off. The sprinkler system was also going off. At this point I am trying to grab any expensive electronics so I can save them from water damage. Right around here is when I was woken up by my cat scratching the door. This dream would have been much longer otherwise. It had an entire beginning that I left out because the details in my memory are sparse. One of the longest dreams I have had.
