blind during a fire

there was a fire at school but i couldn’t see anything because i couldn’t open my eyes. it felt like when you wake up with conjunctivitis and your eye is all crusty and u can’t really open it at first, except my eye stayed like that and i couldn’t open them at all. i ran down a staircase and when i got outside my geometry teacher was mad at me for being late to get outside. everyone went back to class, except the geometry class was now in my bedroom and not the classroom. my vision was back! it felt incredible. i went up to my geometry teacher and apologized for being late to get outside. i explained that i had been temporarily blinded. he took my mario badescu rose water and started to mist his face and complimented the decor in my room.
