My role in this dream was all seeing and as a friend to the mc. It was set in Milwaukee and a mix of heavy past/present. We all went to Morse•Marshall which is predominantly black with a few of us Latinos, and a couple Asians. Hell even 99% of our teachers were minorities. In the dream we all knew not to associate with the white kids cause nearly all had klan ties. Course MC was adopted by a white woman and her daughter and son. The boy was a cool lil homie. We was all at lunch but it was outside and a bunch of picnic tables together like at the park. Everything was concrete, there was a basketball court and a dumpster. At the table there was a big gap between rows the white kids on one side and us on the other. The few white kids we had were separated by basic cliques then there was us all together with maybe a handful of Emenim type white kids. The boy was one of them. A couple of kids was at the basketball court when a group of Klan members decided to start burning crosses at the entrance. This flashes us to MC’s house he’s decided to leave and the white woman and daughter is pissed calling him an ungrateful n**** etc. Like him leaving was an insult to him. He tried explaining but she wasn’t having it. The next day he left a note explaining it all and was going to leave straight from school. But at lunch again the klan came this time with more people. Those of us who tried to help the MC and fight back got beat meanwhile... they lynched him and but a ring of fire around him. They continued to beat us until the cops came. I don’t know where the school staff is this whole time. It’s flashed back to the woman and she finds the letter. She reads about the klans attacks at the school and how he needed to get safe. She goes to pick the kids up and find out what happens and is all sad and shit but her son puts her in place “This wouldn’t have happened if you hadn’t made the call” —————————- I woke up after that. That was one of the most horrid things I’ve dreamt and when I lived in Milwaukee it was a fear. Not exactly klan members coming and lynching students but racist attacking us. Milwaukee is one of the most segregated cities and when you go to a 99% minority school it’s all fun and cool to be with your peoples until they station police and a patty wagon at your 6-12 school and it seems like every day someone’s getting beat by cops or maced.
