First we were investigating a missing item in a library that doubled as a woman's house. We deduced that a wedding ring was missing that was worth a lot of money and that the woman had taken it by letting her baby eat it and then collected all his poop. Once we figured out the secret it turned i to some sort of chase. I remember having to crawl out a window, up the building, and in through another window. In the second part I was a fancy gentleman who was trying to join a family who's patriarch I'd just murdered. The wife was into me, but one of the daughters was super suspicious. I remember that we were in a huge house that seemed to be surrounded by water, and I think I killed the husband by drowning him. In the third part I was watching an anime that was so absurdly complicated. I think the first two parts of the dream were supposed to be a part of the anime, but towards the end it got very heady and philosophical and the visuals were just wacky fever dream stuff. I had been watching it with my mom and she actually kind of liked it. The last scene of the dream sequence was talking to her about the parts we liked and didn't like while we were driving in the car.
