Mechanical life wipes out organic life

In the dream we were experiencing another pandemic and the cure was a finally being sent out. But the vaccine was a catalyst for people turning into flying drones that started eating all organic life. This giant *thing* appeared in the sky and demanded that humans take this microchip in their bodies and when we resisted it started ripping bodies apart in the sky and eventually people took the chip. The drones/mechanical life forms eventually wiped out all life. The other dream was my wife's family lived in this almost Italian looking fishing village and it was a quiet place, soft and quiet.
