Horrifying Elevator Shaft Dream

After a few earlier shenanigans in the dream, I was going into an elevator at some library that also had magic in it? In the elevator with me were those two boys who look similar in orchestra and some red-haired girl i don’t recognize. So we get in but the elevator is already in motion(?) and one of them pressed a button for the 7th or 8th floor. Apparently that fucks up the elevator or something because we go up really really fast way past the floor and when we reach the top we bounce off the floor higher than you normally would and then start PLUMMETING DOWN. Everyone is bouncing around like we’re in zero gravity and we’re pretty much about to die. I’m not screaming or anything (that i remember) but the rest of them are and they’re trying to jump so when we hit the bottom we’re not slammed to the ceiling. The elevator does stop for a moment and we do bounce but it continues falling right after. I’m trying to reach the emergency button on the wall but centrifugal force keeps my arm from reaching and it didn’t seem like there was even an emergency button on the wall in the first place, just a bunch of unrelated and unmarked ones. Eventually, we do reach a “bottom”, and since the doors are open we’re launched from the elevator and slam onto the floor. I kinda just lay there and shake intensely while trying not to vomit for a minute. Apparently, though, now we’re in a bathroom and we came out of a bathroom stall and the reason why we were falling for so long was because we were suspended upside down above the toilet in one of the stalls at one point(?) and spinning really fast and we couldn’t tell the difference, then got thrown out of there. Apparently this was understandable because some of the other stalls also had hexes on them. I don’t remember much else.
