My dads an asshole and my gf’s feisty abt it

My gf volunteered w me at a small animal sanctuary for special animals and we were watching a couples tiny kids too. A rabbit hurt himself but was fine. I said something about pa and she was like oh??? And so i called him over to tell the thing bc i thought it was interesting until he dropped racial slurs in there and i saw her tense. She got up and wound up her fist n asked him a salty question, and when he realized what was gonna happen he salted back like ‘are you really gonna do that in my house right here rn, i can throw you out of here.’ And she had the nervousness of me in that sense and immediately sat back down on her phone. I tried to hug to cheer up but she avoided. I waited a few hours so she could b alone and when i zoomed across the house she came to investigate. N since she came i gave her a hug and she was hesitant but then she softened and we hugged. It felt really nice and she had a nice light cologne and her height made huggin really nice. It was one of those moments where it was like you could really feel it.
