Where was he driving me?

I had this dream where I was in the car with my dad. It was getting close to sunset and we we're driving on a road next to a big freeway. There weren't any buildings around. Maybe just a gas station next to the freeway. Eventually we keep driving and we turn off into a road that I recognize from other dreams. But my awareness SUCKS and I don't realise that I'm dreaming :( The road is going up a green Hill and I'm still not sure where we are going. The hill eventually flattens out and the grass starts to get a bit dry. After a while of driving we pull up next a really old house with a broken wooden fence and the grass is really long. And then I remembered that I was going to a friend's birthday party
