The beginning of the dream started with me, my family, and a few other girls that I don’t know in real life- but apparently knew pretty well in the dream- and all of us went camping together. It wasn’t the hard-core, survive with nothing but a tent and a lighter, fight off wild bears type of camping; it was very chill, we brought a ton of stuff with us, like phones and even this little portable radio that I was particularly fond of because it had multiple headphone jacks. My brother, sister and I could all listen to pop music on the hike there without pissing off our parents. We got to the camping ground around noon, while the sun was still out and shining warmly. It was a really nice spring day, and the ground wasn’t wet, but wasn’t too hard either, perfect for camping. We set up our tents and some other stuff- my parents and I, along with a few of the girls, put together the starts of a campfire so we could just light it as soon as it got dark, and I even dragged some good logs and stones over to the campfire (with the help of my brother, mostly for the heavier rocks), so that we could all sit around the campfire like how everyone does when they go camping. My parents also put two of those foldable sunbathing chairs for themselves, right by this little stream nearby, completely in the sunshine. From there we got ourselves situated for real. My parents put their stuff in their tent quickly, and then left- with a few drinks and snacks from the cooler- to go sunbathe and get away from us kids for a bit. The rest of us shared three other tents. My brother, sister and I all shared the biggest tent, two girls shared the second biggest, and one girl got the smallest tent all to herself. After arguing a little over where everyone’s stuff would go (mainly just my brother and sister argued, over who got to sleep in the corner of the tent), we all started hanging out and talking. We did the stuff that kids do when parents aren’t around- nothing bad of course, but we ‘gossiped,’ talked about modern music or video games or how school, along with our teachers, sucked. We broke into the cooler (mostly thanks to me, since I was the one who figured out where our parents kept the key) and stole some fresh fruit- strawberries, blueberries, oranges, and even the small watermelon we’d brought. My brother and sister grabbed sodas but the rest of us drank bottled water, the other girls because it was healthy, me because I can’t have soda without my kidneys flipping out and chucking kidney stones into my bladder like they’re TRYING to block it. After a bit it got to a really cool point, I have this sort of scene I remember in particular from this moment in the dream- I can picture it in my head right now. We were all sprawled out in the biggest tent (my siblings and I’s) and were just chilling. The sleeping bags were pushed against the sides of the tent, acting like couch cushions for a few of us who were leaning against the side. In the center of the tent there were bowls and plates with all the snacks on them, and we even had a picnic blanket set up for us to sit on while snacking. My brother was near the back of the tent chatting with my sister, while munching on a giant watermelon piece (she kept stealing little chunks off whenever he wasn’t on guard). Two girls were in a farther corner of the tent with just their bottled water and the bowl of blueberries, poring over a magazine and scrolling through their phones. I was sitting closer to the middle of the tent, slightly to the side; my back was parallel to the sleeping bag cushions. I was facing the third girl, who was talking animatedly to me; I was nodding and laughing. I can’t remember what we were talking about but it was just casual stuff. We had divided up most of the snacks between ourselves- I didn’t really like watermelon as much, so the girl had been nice and was eating mostly watermelon. I, on the other hand, was eating berries- but mostly just strawberries. I was straight up devouring them. The girl laughed and said, “it’s really a pity. Strawberries taste so good with watermelon.” Then she winked. I was kind of caught off guard and ended up blushing and awkwardly laughing while trying not to look at her lips (and failing miserably). The girl seemed to be at ease though, so I calmed back down and we talked more, about whatever mostly. When the day started to pass by the other kids decided to go play in the stream, however the girl I had been talking to and I stayed back- her because she hadn’t brought a bathing suit, me because I was too embarrassed to let her see me in a bathing suit, now. After the others leave it starts to get dark, not super dark, just sunset-level light. The tent is very prettily lit up with golden light. We continue eating the fruits and talking but it’s very quiet in the tent now. Somehow she manages to move closer to me without me even noticing until I’m like, hey, she’s literally right next to me, and she wasn’t before. I continue only eating strawberries and she laughs again and asks if I’m going to eat anything else. I kind of glance at her lips and mutter, “maybe... didn’t you say watermelon tasted good with these?” Long story short we kiss- not a super lewd kiss or anything, just a kind of long one. There’s no tongue or anything weird, it’s kind of nice- more calming than anything, which is weird. Then the dream ends.
