Chernobyl dream

Date: 1/14/2021

I found myself walking up a hill. To my right was the shore, to my left was a deep forest of trees. I could hear something that sounded like a geiger counter in the sky. There were regular pauses between clicks. After some walking, i saw what looked like a dog. It came running up towards me. I was about to try to dodge it, but then it stopped running. I decided to walk up to it. As i got closer, i saw that it was covered in something. But in fact, the dog was actually made up of many foraging insects. Because it turned into birds, which flew away. I continued to walk through the forest, hoping to find more weird crazy creatures. I saw the figure of a man. It was a wood cutter. He was covered in a green tarp that looked like grass. His left leg turned into another dog, which ran towards me. Other insects remade his leg. The dog faced me without making a sound besides buzzing. I felt a sting at the back of my neck. Then i saw my body fall still onto the ground. then it ran back to the man, and absorbed itself back into the man. The man creature walked up to me and faced me. The man creature was mimicking me. the creature was intrigued and was trying to emulate me. i was like a giant insect to it. “well, we get much bigger than this!” i yelled at it. i started to float up into the sky. i saw a cloud of these insects seem to form out of nowhere. the formed into other man like figures hovering. i look down and i find that i was one of them. we turn into flying balls of bugs and fly away. === this dream made me thing about how vespid colonies work compared to how cells and organelles reproduce. it reminded me of another dream, where we were at a pier, where my mom (another strange woman) points up into the sky where balloons were flying. the balloons looked like giant cells with strings for flagella, the clumped together and formed a giant cell like thing by wrapping their flagella around each other. “wow, thats cool!” i said out loud.
