Water Dragon

It was a high school reunion for my graduating class, but each student came with their own cruise and brought their parents. My family had the smallest and I was confused why someone would even need such a big boat. The mom of a guy named Garrett invited us onto their boat. We said sure and climbed up. We realized very quickly how fake and kinda mean she was. We went back to our boat. We all docked and went on land. I saw Garrett’s mom take off in a different direction... I followed her. She had found a little water dragon with black scales and tiny wings. She wanted to kill it. I screamed at her and distracted her enough to let the little dragon run. He jumped into a little pond and disappeared. She turned and started yelling at me before stalking off to hunt the dragon. I decided to find him first. I later realized that she didn’t want her son to know of the dragon’s existence so I made a point to clue him in. I found the dragon first and cooed to him and made friends. He was like a little baby. She got mad and started screaming. He son witnessed it and flipped out on her. She just sat there stunned. I took the dragon back to the ocean and let him go.
