Mountain Quest

I'm on an expedition traversing some mountains like Lord of the Rings. But more like a fancy family vacation. We camp in high altitude. Some mountains are so steep we have to basically repel down the slopes so the going is slower. Next I'm on a slightly different quest looking for a doe at the top of a mountain, along with competitors, without a map. I run along a mountain road. My intuition tells me to stop and turn right, and I listen. My companion who is an official for the competition questions me, "Why do you want to turn that way?" We come to a clearing to see deer staring at us. "Because," I answer, "deer." I quickly head up the slope and find the prize doe at the top of the mountain surrounded in a beam of light. I'm excited because part of the prize is the baby deer she makes.
