Discovered after moving in with a friend “Amy” that her live-in boyfriend as extremely abusive. She is small and blonde and he is tall, skinny with brown hair. He seems sweet but is very controlling of everything she does. Over time his abuse becomes debilitating for me as well. They end up having a party at their house and I am talking with friends. Someone asks why can’t Amy do such and such and I can’t take it anymore. I whisper to her that she can’t tell anyone but that her boyfriend is abusive. A guy overhears and then says we need to do something about it, and starts telling others. I start freaking out and telling people he will hurt her and possibly me but they don’t care. My fear is extreme at this point and I run to a closet to hide. I hear a crowd outside confront him but I can tell he is walking away before they can hold him. I know he is going to look for Amy. I run out of the closet and follow him. He is asking other people at the party where she is. He can’t find her and stops to get a pair of scissors out of a drawer. He proceeds to put one blade in his mouth and cuts the corner of his mouth, almost the length of the scissors. His eyes are crazy. He continues to look for her with a bloody mouth. Change scene. I am at a townhouse talking with a neighbor about whether I have met other neighbors. One neighbor comes over who is pregnant with her first and begs to watch my youngest son, who is a baby. I say yes and she goes to her patio (under the second story, enclosed with lattice, 2 houses down from my patio) and sets up a play area for my son. For some reason I think I need to give her my hose to help watch my son, so she and I work at detaching it and the reel from the hose bib. Strange strange.
