The Rescue...?? *heads up this was a long dream*

I was in a store with a large group of people, all of which I subconsciously knew that I knew them all, but only actually saw the face of and interacted with 2 of the people. George from work was the first person I interacted with. He was looking at a movie and asked if I had seen it. Instead of seeing the cover of the movie I started seeing the movie playing in my mind. I recognized it as being the movie Echo, but I was confused. I said, "Oh yeah I saw that movie! I liked it, but I don't recognize this scene. Is it the first one or second one?" We never really established which one it was (granted I don't think there is a second one in real life), but this threw me into my first string of events. I recognized the movie as Echo because of the little alien guy they find and the kids faces. Except that the kids faces in my dreams were not the actual kids in the movie. I know the kids from somewhere, but it's not that movie, and I'm acknowledging them as if they are. I continue seeing this movie playing, I guess it must be in my head because that is all I see and the world in the store disappear and now this "movie" has become the focus of my dream. I'm just a spectator, not physically in the action, not even there. Just watching. There is a group of aliens (perceived to be the bad guys) all wearing uniforms and carrying weapons, they're obviously a "military" group. There's no fear in anyone (including myself) of them actually being used or any harm coming to anyone. They're bring Echo and one of the boys (it's a group of 3 kids, 2 boys and a girl) into their base I guess it is. It's a white building like a warehouse in the middle of a desert like area. The ground is dirt, small brush here and there, no civilization around that I can see. Just the buildings of this base. Not futuristic at all, it's just like an abandon warehouse area with a few smaller buildings around it here on earth, somewhere. The other two kids are there and pleading with the aliens to let their friend and Echo go, but they can't be reasoned with. They're not violet, just following orders. The girl and boy back off and the boy suddenly thinks of a plan to busy them out. The boy is wearing a cowboy outfit complete with a hat and lasso (he's quite good with the lasso too). They smile and run off behind the buildings, the boy is twirling his lasso in a loop over his head as he runs, acting as if they're just kids playing because they know that might raise suspicion (of what I don't know) and they might be taken captive too. This is wear I start to become a part of the story. I'm no longer just a spectator. I'm a being in the midst of it all. I'm instantly transported from that desert warehouse to my parents backyard. I see their neighbor come out into their backyard, except that it's not my neighbor, but it is, just a different appearance. He's tall and skinny, black but lighter skin tone, has long dreads and is very kind. He's wearing a t-shirt that seems like it might be tie dye but I can't tell, it doesn't seem important. I think he might have some tattoos peaking out from under his shirt sleeves but again I can't quite see it and doesn't have a feeling of importance. He picks something up and mutters something along the lines of "ah someone took it." For some reason it grabs my attention. I know it is important and know it was a clue from the little cowboy kid. I run over and grab the item and smile and yell out "___ took it! He's breaking them out!" I said a name, but I don't know what it was. I was then in the neighbors living room analyzing the item he picked up. It was a paper, trifold like a brochure. There were cuts in it and it seemed transparent like tracing paper. Folded up it was an image of a group of people (young and old) sitting in a church smiling and laughing. When I unfolded the paper there were two different images. One of an empty church and another of kids and their parents sitting in desks in a classroom. I thought to myself, "huh, it was just an illusion." Then I instantly knew that the kid was going to create an massive illusion to break out his friends and was leaving me puzzles to figure it out. At that moment there was a shift. It wasn't a kid and alien that were imprisoned, it was still a friend, but was now a grown man in a hospital bed. He had been injured somehow and was unconscious. We were allowed to visit him, but could only talk amongst ourselves since he was unconscious. What was weird about the shift is that it was like it had always been that way. Rescuing this man instead of a boy and Echo. Figuring this puzzle out started a montage of almost like video clips in my head of the other puzzles left. One being a poster or something (in not really sure what it was but I was a part of a presentation for school) that belonged to some little kid. The cowboy kid "magically" punched pieces out of this poster that somehow told us what was happening, but in the act of punching them out it all was somehow covered in blood. Because of the mess I thought to myself what happens to the kid that it belongs to when he finds it? Then just like that I saw a clip (I'm assuming in my mind) snapping to a classroom where everyone was dressed in a costume, like a full body with a stuffed animal type hood costume. A dad and little boy were setting up his presentation board, they were dressed as dinosaurs. They unfolded the board and saw the pieces cut out and the gooey blood substance surrounding the cut pieces. No one freaked out, just all said "ewwwww" simultaneously. Then I flipped back to where I was when I had the thought. After "seeing" a few puzzles, I didn't actually see them I just knew that I was shown them, I was awoken by my alarm. I snoozed and dozed back off right away slipping back into this dream. I didn't slip back into the "movie" portion though. I was back in the store. Same store, same people. The focus was now shifted though. Instead of thinking of the movie I was now looking for things in the store. We went to the candy isle and my coworker Katie was looking at everything with me. I was looking for dipped pretzel rods, but it was a difficult search because dipped pretzel rods weren't made the same in the dream. There were huge ones and thy way they make them is the "dip" ingredient is made in sheets instead of just dipping the pretzel, and are cut to the size/shape needed for the big pretzels and glued onto little sponge squares which are glued onto the pretzels. It makes the coating stick out farther making them bigger. All is edible as well. But I wanted "real" dipped pretzels. I even went I to a little rant about how I hate how they make the fake ones and why can't they just make them how they used to because those were the best. In my search I found a bin with what I thought was them but when I reached in and picked them up, it was a bag of pencils. I became focused on the pencils and the images on them. I decided that was what I wanted to get and I was picking out the designs I like best. I thought there were only two designs but then I saw one with the Winchesters from the show Supernatural and I instantly claimed that one and said "mine!" With that, I was awoken yet again by my alarm. I again hit the snooze and dozed back off, falling to into another, different dream.
