Snake Bite

I had a dream I was visiting the college I went to to see some of the friends that I made while I was a senior. They were in a cafeteria, a building placed on top of a single story parking garage. It was lunch time, but incredibly dark, so dark that you couldn't see too well. There were snakes all over the ground, but not too many that you couldn't dodge around them. I manage to get through the parking garage unscathed, and up into the building, however, the building was very maze like, and I had to go through many uncertain rooms to even get close to where I was going. I wandered for a while before I managed to get to the place they were eating, and joined them for a meal. After our meal was done, it was time to leave, and leaving was much more simplistic than it was getting in - the door led to the garage. I went out first, however, I got bitten on the right side of one of my legs, I think it was my left leg. I immediately began to feel week and ill, and my skin turned yellow as if I had immediately jaundiced. The bite had puffed up like two zits, with the venom at the head. I tried to get it out by squeezing it, but I wasn't able to. As I squoze it, though, I was getting less yellow and it provided some relief. Nobody was able to drive me to the hospital, and since it was so dark we couldn't identify the snake. I wandered for a bit to try to find someone I knew to take me to the hospital, but nobody would. A professor loudly noted the snakes were a specific shade of dull green with dull black spots on them. I wasnt able to get a ride until I called two of my friends (who actually lived on the other side of the country) somehow they managed to come pick me up and take me. K was driving, and J was in the back seat, behind the front passenger. I remember weakly getting into the car, and the first thing they did was physically comforting me as we started to drive to the hospital. K held my hand with her right, and J would pet my head as a soothing action. It was comforting, happy, even though I was apparantly dying. We would drive, and the street lights on either side of the road would connect to make very faint rainbows, and as we drove under them there was a small explosion of rainbow shaped confetti? I want to say that the rainbow broke apart into tiny rainbows, but I can't recall. I think it was dreamed up in the long run by the dream snake poison, but I thought it was beautiful. At one point I was so comfortable - the people around me, the warmth of the car, the comfort they took care to give me, that I closed my eyes and tried to relax, but that made them panic a bit and wake me up to make sure I was alright. I assured them I was, but kept comfortable with my body leaning left in the seat. The snake bite didn't hurt anymore, I wasn't dying, I was happy. Eventually we pulled into the hospital and I was helped out of the car, but my alarm had gone off and woke me up. I tried to return back to my dream, buy I was unable to. 😔
