Cooking eggs and potatoes

In my dream, I bumped into Charles R who was cooking scrambled eggs in a large cooking pot that was a mix of a foreman grill and a wok. It seemed to take him forever and he was frustrated with the time it took, though he still seemed patient. It was a dichotomy of emotions. I watched the cooking after he’d been over the pot for quite some time. The scrambled eggs alternated between being yellow, white, and a very light brown. I asked if he was also cooking potatoes with his eggs. He confirmed and said that’s why it’s taking so much longer for them to cook. They were finally ready, as he dished his meal out of the strange pot.
