A dream so beautiful it woke me up

I was with some friends, although I don't remember them now. I woke up because of the magnificent color around me. We were on a street and I can hardly describe the setting. There was depth with various metal poles, city like metal like maybe staircases, signage, buildings perhaps. I was so mesmerized by its beauty and became conscious because I wanted to paint it. It had a definite big city feel. It was just far out, but obviously the images faded almost immediately upon waking with the exception of the color pallet. Very striking, but would probably look something akin to a carnival should I paint it in rl. Perhaps I'll try. Too bad we can't add images on this app!
