an interesting little town

I fell from the sky into this town, which apparently was a normal thing that happened there when new people came. No one remembers what happened before they got to the town. I fell into a large flower field, with the small town to the left, some trees in front and to the right, and an ocean behind me. Some people from town came to help me and introduce me to the town. After that I only remember the point where I died. In the town, you died by going on a journey to a certain area and throwing yourself in the ocean. I had made a really good friend in the town, so we were going together. Some other people came too, I think for protection though because we had to fight creatures along the way. The creatures looked like large birds, and they were hostile. We traveled through some grassy plain-like areas, until we eventually reached the point where we were going to die. There were other townspeople that were standing on a ledge in the distance, and one of them was the leader. We were right on the edge of the ocean, and I had to stand on a small rock. The wind started to blow really hard, and the leader shouted at me to jump. I jumped and I turned into a bird, I flew over to the edge of the world, into the ocean, and I died. Then, I remember being reincarnated. I fell from the sky once again into the large flower field. I was a different person this time, and I was confused because I remembered my past life. I started to panic for a second, but stopped. There was also this weird thing I could do with paint and flowers, but I’m not sure how to describe it. Later I started to get sad because I remembered my friend from my past life, and I realized I loved him and I missed him. I eventually went into town but no one knew who I was.
