Awkward College Dream...?

I'm in college or some sort of school and I'm presenting a device that, I think, makes music and generates lights at the same time. A huge robot monster interrupts in the middle and ends up breaking my device. Turns out, he's a pumpkin. So I slice off a few pieces and he ends up making a fine fix for my device. Afterwards, I go get money from the people who want the device and it's time to go home. Although.. Home is through several broken buildings and an abandoned back yard. So I make my way nervously through the abandoned buildings, feeling watched, and I head through the abandoned back yards and start sprinting and I am gripping at the tall grass to pull myself forward until I reach the back entrance of my dorm building and I don't have my Id so I pray that the door open when I push the button. It does. I slam that bitch shut behind me. I run up to my room where my roommates are and hurriedly store the cash away and sigh, sitting into a chair. They ask me what's wrong and I say it was a resounding success, however, I felt I was being watched the entire time I came home. They tell me it'll be okay and I say I need a bath. So we all prepare. Well, roommate one decides to get in a pod and I tell her to hold it but she just gives me this look of anger and takes off anyways and I look over at roommate two and she just shakes her head. "She's jealous that you and I are actually getting places in our areas of study." and I say back "Well she could tell us to help every now and then. We aren't scary people." She agrees and I get a pod and sit in it and wait. The pod starts to close and I disable the automatic pilot and slam my shoulder through the doors to hold it open for roommate two. I flip the open switch for the door and it opens for her to get in, then I shut it and reenable autopilot and we make our way to the bathrooms. The dream sorta hazes out from there because I woke myself up.
