Strange Events

I’d only been asleep a couple of hours when I woke up and heard a noise. I don’t think I woke up because of the sound though. It reminded me of the sound an iPhone makes when you use the Find iPhone app and choose “Play Sound”. A series of tones to listen to so you can locate your phone. It was similar but I don’t think it was exactly the same. I lay in my bed listening for a minute. The sound wasn’t in my room... I confirmed both my iPhone and iPad were the room next to me. I got up, put on my house shoes and walked in the hallway. I heard it again, but still couldn’t tell where it was coming from. I walked to the kitchen and saw my daughter’s iPhone on the kitchen counter. No sound from it. I listened for the sound again but it had stopped. I walked back down the hall and stood there waiting to hear the sound again but it seemed it had stopped altogether. I went back to bed. It seemed I was only asleep a short time when I dreamt I got up again. This time I decided to go out the guest room porch door to smoke a cigarette. I don’t normally use this door because the porch is being used as storage for the moment. Anyway, it’s daylight and as soon as I step outside and begin to close the door, I see movement in the backyard not but maybe 10 feet in front of me. I scream loudly at the sight of an enormous green snake that takes off incredibly fast for its size. It had something in its mouth. I quickly stepped back inside and slammed the door shut, screaming to whole time. My husband was in the bed sleeping (we’ve been staying in the guest room while doing work in the master). He woke up suddenly from my hysterics. I started frantically yelling about the giant green snake I saw with something in its mouth that took off in our backyard. He looked concerned as I continued to try to explain the surprising size of the snake. I think we both went outside to take a look but then I found myself back in bed during the nighttime waking to another sound. This sound was different. I felt it in the room with me. An electronic hum. It was dark but I saw a toy remote control helicopter hovering above me. I was groggy from waking and confused. I trying to make sense of things, I wondered if my son got the old remote control helicopter out we had but has been stored away during our house remodeling. I grabbed the toy out of the air, but then a remote control motorcycle ran into me. Then another helicopter... I noticed my husband wasn’t in bed... I was confused.. where did these toys come from? Who’s controlling them? No answers before the dream ended.
