recruiting from the elf and gnome kingdom

it is fairly rare that my dreams include any of the common mythological or legendary creatures known from folklore, fairy tales etc... this one stood out because not only did it include some of the above but it was also quite vividly colorful and there was a fun sense of adventure. so the night involved quite a few detailed dreams which I don't recall well, however this one occurred shortly before waking so I was able to remember it more clearly. I was part of a small group of people who were on a mission to find something, either an object or the solution to a problem...or perhaps we were running away from an enemy. I don't recall who the others were except for one... it was the character Arthur Shelby from the tv show Peaky Blinders (i had finished the latest season a few days ago). Anyways, so we are trying to get to a place that will help us in our purpose. To get there we need to pass several physical obstacles, like crossing a river on a log and going through an underground cave like tunnel. none are very frightening and we pass through without troubles. when we come out the other side of the tunnel we have a beautiful view of a hilly green countryside with forests and a fairy kingdom like castle in the distance. Even more surprising is that the place is filled with funny looking creatures of all kinds, mostly gnome like...but they vary quite a bit. the are everywhere! popping up out of the tall grass as we walk by and looking at us. there is a benevolence in the whole place that seems to be coming from its inhabitants. it turns out the purpose of our trip here was to request the aid of those who live in this magical kingdom to help us resolve our issues back in the world that we came from. They accepted. Can't quite recall where it went from here but as I'm writing this the symbolism is appearing quite clear.
