Odd Machine

I was in a dense fog, with snow on the ground, in a forest that was familiar to me. It was on neighboring property to my parents home in East Texas. I was hunting, prowling towards a dark mass in the fog as I crept the fog died down and there was a moose towering over me. I shot it and it fell very gently to the snow in a very neat pile. In excitement I closed my eyes knowing this couldn't be real, when I opened them it was gone, and I was transported back home. I was with my dad with great regret I told him of my failed hunt, he told me it was "okay, we can look for it together." he lead me outside to this odd Machine. it was nothing more than a wide enough wooden board to sit on. With a small motor mounted below with only 1 axle, but placed far towards the back. We sat on the back with a large portion of board protruding out in front of us, and the was a rope for me to hold and steer. It was a balancing act, but me and dad were oddly skilled at holding it at just the right upward angle to keep from jamming it into the earth. Off we went. f Faster than real physics would allow jumping over trails and bumps in the terrain floating higher than one would expect. I remember me and my dad feeling close and cheering when we would lift off the ground. We had for gotten about our task and my mind drifted into the darkness of sleep while dad and I were still riding the odd Machine in whatever dimension we were in. I awoke with a feeling of nirvana on my mind.
