remodel of my room

In about 3 weeks I will be re painting my room but not getting a new carpet (which is what I really want considering mine is grass green) In this dream I did something I'd never do, ask my step dad for carpet...(he's not even my step dad he's just a guy that lives in my house that happens to have 3 kids with my mom) in the dream he handed me the tape measure and said tell me it, and I guess I was very lucid because I controlled the measurements and recorded them and they were pretty logical. 6ft by 7ft from each wall. Him and i have never gotten along but maybe this is telling me there Is a turn around
