Trip to Tokyo

Date: 4/29/2021

(very long. probably the most elaborate i’ve had and remember) we first arrived in China for a layover. It was a full day layover so we left the airport. I was traveling with my dive team and coaches as well as Harvey and Josh from Sabrina the Teenage Witch. we went to a market square to get food and souvenirs. at a stand I saw on their board a lighter that looked like a cat. I wanted to get it for my bf back home because he likes to collect lighters (stoner things haha). when I asked for the lighter the man claimed they had sold out. a young boy who was at a different window saw the lighters sitting inside and pointed it out to the man saying “they aren’t sold out, they’re right there.” the man apologized and handed me the lighter and some incense for my troubles. he put them in a bag and I walked away. he seemingly forgot to charge me for the lighter. for some reason I was fumbling the incense and dropped them everywhere. I picked them up quickly. I joined my group. it was time to go to a hotel for a few hours while we waited for our next flight. when we arrive at the hotel, I saw a notification on my phone about Harvey leaving because I obviously wanted to be with Josh. I showed Josh and we denied any feelings we had. at the hotel, the stairway to our room was extremely narrow and the steps were very shallow. it was one long stairway to the top without entrances to any other floor. once we got to the top, we entered the hotel room which had a very low hanging door. the room was more like a condo with 2 bedrooms and a large living space. after hanging out for a little, I looked at the clock and it read 10:48 pm. I took 2 melatonins to get ready to wind down. that’s when I was told our flight would be soon and we would be leaving the hotel. I was annoyed cause I had taken melatonin but this didn’t affect me in the dream. next thing I know we’re boarding the plane to Tokyo. we sat in pairs in varying parts of the plane. it was a very large aircraft. a teammate and coach were in row 2. I’m not sure about the others. josh and I were in row 68. I walked to the back of the plane where more seats wrapped around the corner. a lot of people were shuffling about in our row trying to figure out placement. I was in the aisle and my row had 5 seats. next to me was Josh, except he was apart of the chair at first? I was confused even in the dream. I decided to put my feet on his chair (lap in this case) until take off. even tho we were row 68, this was the front of the plane? we could see out the front window since the cockpit wasn’t separate. we started to roll, we were behind a car in traffic and almost rear ended them. I cracked a joke about how getting hit by a plane wouldn’t be fun. when it was clear, we made a left turn onto the street. in front of us was a road that just dropped off 100ft into the ocean. we picked up speed and lifted off from the drop off of the road. right as we went into the air, the pilot flew us upside down for a few moments. nothing fell to the ceiling except for a few dribbles of water from my water bottle. we then leveled out and went up to the clouds. amongst the clouds were many beautiful trees. it was a gorgeous sight to me. many people took out their phones to take pictures. I wanted to show my bf back at home. there were forests and beautiful shimmering lights. the further we flew amongst the clouds, the more we saw. we started seeing cottages, then houses, and very large mansions along sitting on the cloud tops. it was an amazing view and felt very reel. I wanted to go to this world amongst the clouds. while on the plane, I guess I realized my feelings for Josh and we started to hold hand (by this point he was fully human again). his hand was small and his fingers very skinny. we finally arrived in tokyo. the first place we went was the pool for training and competition. I kept falling off the board and jumping all crazy. my coach thought it was funny (which usually would be if we weren’t in Tokyo for worlds). at one point i jumped very far to the side and almost landed on one of my swimmer teammates J. this was her only appearance in the dream. then the competition started. my teammate T started. for some reason she did her first 3 dives in a row. (usually u do one dive and then wait your turn for the next one). I asked her why she was competing so fast and she didn’t think she was. my other teammate To did her reverse 2.5 and it was set up to go for 8-9s but she went flying long and missed the dive. the scene changed to a more annoying part of the dream that i don’t care to type lol.
