1) There were various "stories" about little kids who lived in stores (toy store, book store, Meijer) and didn't have any friends, so they befriended store dummies. 2) It was raining and we were in the car. I was upset because, not only was he driving with Paisley not in her seat, but she was unbuckled and crawling around in the front seat. I was attempting to teach her rudimentary physics and about object impermanence. There was also an in-between transition dream in which I had been adopted (at my age and stage of life) by a chick around my age who wanted to support me and get me to be able to finish high school and college. I was so grateful for her support that I didn't have the heart to tell her I'd finished high school almost 20 years ago. We may have lived in an abandoned store. Also there was an old blue pick-up truck and a second vehicle made from repurposed shopping carts.
