Our class is called to present to an audience in a hall several times every day. The presentation is via video but we have to be there. Can't remember what it was about but it felt like our tutors prided in parading us and the video content to the viewers. ****** One day after coming from the presentation, a classmate insists that we take the newly scheduled 8am breakfast. I insist that I like the 10am one but she's persuasive. Breakfast contains a piece of cake, sausage, an omelette and a mug of milk tea. Just when it's my turn, everything is scooped off the serving pan. Only tiny slices of cake are left, so I take two. I find a mug with tea filled halfway. I want to take it but I figure it must have been someone's leftover. So, I just stand there, waiting on the kitchen staff to refill the food but they don't show up. A student that came after me goes to check and find neither the staff nor the food in the kitchen. "This is why I take the 10am breakfast." I complain to my classmate. "There's always someone watching the food flow". I continue. I have the option to leave and come back at 10 but I just stand there, hoping the tea urn will refill somehow. I have developed a headache which I attribute to caffeine craving. I must have my tea now! Where are the goddamn caterers?
