The shadow figure

I woke to find out that I couldn’t move I tried to but I couldn’t I was screaming for my mom who was in the kitchen but nothing came out of my mouth then that’s when the thunder came crashing and it lit up my whole room and at the edge of my eye I saw a black figure just standing there looking at me at this point i was terrified and i started screaming as loud as I can but nothing came out so I tried my hardest to move but my body wasn’t working next thing I now is that I’m crying then I look back to where I saw the figure and it wasn’t there anymore and to my relief I was able to move again but I just curled up into a ball and stayed that way until my alarm went off telling it was time for school
